Going into the inaugural Call of Duty League season, OpTic Gaming Los Angeles had one of the most exciting rosters in the league, with potential to be the very best team. After a terrible start to the season where they sat bottom of the table for a few home series, the atmosphere around the team was bleak. After dropping JKap, Dashy, and Chino (who had been brought in originally to replace JKap), they looked better and even made it to the finals of a home series. Despite their improvements, they fell to the Chicago Huntsmen in dramatic fashion at the end of Playoffs, meaning they only finished T6. The offseason loomed with an air of uncertainty around the team, as Dashy left for the Huntsmen and there was no comfort in sight. Eventually, however, a light in the shape of Nadeshot & 100 Thieves, who bought out OpTic's LA spot to form the LA Thieves. They decided to keep SlasheR, Kenny & TJHaLy, and with the exciting addition of Temp, they hope to fulfill the potential everyone thought they had last season. Maven, MerK, SlasheR, Kenny, TJHaLy & Temp sat down with us to talk about the LA Thieves' Rostermania and what they look forward to in 2021.
