Take Faith's tragic backstory, for starters. Bruce Wayne taught us that the best heroic origin stories involve family tragedy and Mirror's Edge Catalyst is no exception. By the time we meet Faith, her activist parents are well out of the picture.

We also learn that her mother was a scientist, who created the circuit-diagram-looking design that Faith later has tattooed on her upper arm.

From this we infer that the drawing has some greater purpose and significance in the high-tech world of Mirror's Edge. That or Doc Connors just designed a wicked tat for her infant daughter, weird.

The Mirror's Edge Catalyst beta will start on 22 April 2016. Mirror's Edge Catalyst comes out on release date 24 May 2016 for PC, Xbox One and PC.
