Epitome is an upcoming free-to-play fantasy MMORPG that successfully raised over €500,000 from more than 20,000 Kickstarter backers in 2026. The game is still in a very early testing stage, but already has something playable, while experimenting heavily with AI technology.

The developers are aiming to include AI-generated quests tailored to your playstyle and AI companions that can fight alongside you. The game is being developed in Unreal Engine and takes inspiration from eastern MMORPGs such as Metin II and Lineage, with a gameplay loop focused on grinding mobs, gathering materials, upgrading gear, completing dungeons, and fighting enemy factions for control of areas.
