Then there's Sandal, the enchantment-loving savant son of your camp merchant in Dragon Age, and the one dude who drops his Mosin Nagant so you finally get a gun in Call of Duty: Finest Hour. It wouldn't be your Finest Hour without his heroic sacrifice, now, would it.
