  • Most Popular CS2 Skins

The Counter-Strike series has grown, especially with the launch of Counter-Strike 2. It is engaging since it allows players to explore different skills, engage in different game terrains, and, most importantly, possess different skins. Evidently, Counter Strike 2 is a massive upgrade from CS:GO, since it offers players new features, better graphics, and generally a finer texture.

One of the significant perks of playing CS2 is buying and selling skins. Several sites offer a platform for players to trade said skins. Therefore, they have a chance to earn money through trading and selling their skins across different sites.

The game (CS2) is an upgrade to its predecessor CS:GO. Fortunately, players will still inherit the skins they purchased while playing CS:GO. It is important to note that the rarest skins are more expensive than the readily available ones. Additionally, players can customize their CS2 skins, and they may even gain popularity over time and can trade them to other players. However, many players have shown varying preferences for the skins, ranging from cheap to expensive. That also depends on their availability.

    Most Popular CS2 Skins

Skins in Counter Strike 2 will not improve the efficiency of your weapon; instead, they will only enhance its general outlook. The upside is you can personalize your weapons to fit your style.

Counter Strike 2 has a wide variety of guns and knives available for various uses throughout the game. You can choose a weapon that matches your skills or the skills needed while playing the game.

For example, weapons such, as AWPs are suitable for players who are efficient in sniper skills or those wishing to sharpen such skills.

Some of the most popular CS2 skins include the following:

    AK-47 skins

One of the most all-round weapons used by CS2 players is the AK-47. Hence, its skins are the most traded.

Although these skins seem ordinary, some that belong in rare collections can gross upwards of $6,000. For example, one of the most sought-after is the Wild Lotus skin, valued between $1,500 and $7,000.

The White Lotus skin exhibits excellence as it is the most coveted skin among players. Other popular skins include Neon Rider, which ranges around $70, and Fuel Injector, whose value has been rising and is currently over $100.

    M4A4 skins

These are among the most popular skins traded by CS2 players. This is due to their availability and value. The Temukau skin, for example, is among the few anime-inspired skins. It is valued at around $200.

The Howl skin, however, is in a league of its own. Because it is one of the highest-grossing skins in the CS2 gaming scene. It brags of a starting price of $6,000 and a price reaching well over $20,000, making it a favorite for collectors with the rarest collections. Other M4A4 skins that are more affordable include the Emperor skin, between $10 to $500, and the Asimov skin, between $100 to $500.

    M4A1-S skins

Players whose best strength is stealth mode take to the M4A1-S weapon, which is the silenced version of the M4A4. However, the M4A1-S skins carry a lower value in trading sites, unlike the M4A4 skins, giving players less value for their money. Some of the most affordable M4A1-S skins include Nightmare, Golden Coil, and Player Two.

    AWP skins

AWP weapons in CS2 are best used for players excelling as snipers since AWP is a sniper rifle with the best assured in-game results. AWP skins will fetch a reasonable price in the market due to their popularity, ranging from a few dollars to thousands of dollars in leading trading sites.

Good examples are the Dragon Lore and Prince skins, which are valued at $4,000 and over. That earns them a place in the collectors' inventories. Some other more affordable skins include Neo-Noir and Asimov, which have a value of less than $100.

    Glock-18 skins

The Glock-18 is also a favorite weapon for many players. This increases the chances of players trading and selling the skin.

Many rare skin collectors are attracted to the Glock-18 skins, including the Fade skin, which is worth more than $2,000. The high price is because of its unique and rare color gradient.

The Vogue and Water Elemental skins are some of the more affordable in this category since they have a starting price of between $5 and $50.

The Gamma Doppler has a higher price, ranging from $50 to $200, which is better for buyers who wish to attract more players for trading.

    Conclusion

CS2 has an expansive inventory of skins for different types of weapons that serve various purposes in the game. Players could inherit their skins from CS: GO after the launch of CS2, and expand their inventory to trade, buy, and sell more skins with others.

Players who use the most popular Counter Strike 2 weapons will trade the most popular CS2 skins, which attracts even more buyers. The value of the skin is usually directly proportional to the skin's rarity. This means the rarest skins are the most expensive, which mostly end up with collectors. Note that the skins will not improve the player's weapon performance, but players earn recognition and stand out even as they compete with others across different platforms.

  • 6 Gaming Options to Stave Off Boredom

Recreation is an essential part of mental well-being. The modern world is fast-paced, with many people caught up in tons of daily activities, seemingly without an hour to spare for themselves. However, amid the hustle and bustle, it’s still possible to get bored.

Boredom can come at any time, even while occupied with several activities. The feeling can come out of the blue, leaving you weary and exhausted. In such cases, games often prove to be a way out.

Thankfully, several options exist to engage in and keep boredom far away whenever the feeling comes. Without further ado, let’s examine some of these game options in today’s article.

    Chess

Chess is one of the oldest games in the world, having originated in ancient India before being spread across mainland Europe by Persian traders. Initially, the queen was the weakest piece on the board, with the bishop being a short-range piece. As such, early chess games took much longer than they do today, and it took more work to checkmate the enemy king piece.

In modern times, the most significant development in chess is computer technology and internet chess. With the advent of AI (artificial intelligence), it’s possible to develop algorithms based on real human chess proficiency. As such, there are now chess-proficient AI that can beat real-world chess grandmasters.

Internet chess is also quite popular. Players from all across the world can access several online platforms to play games with different opponents.

Indeed, chess is a great way to stave off boredom, requiring great concentration and knowledge of various tactics and strategies. The best part is that you don’t need to own an actual chessboard to enjoy it. There are tons of free chess apps to download for mobile and PC. If you’re ever bored and mind-weary, know that chess is a great way to take your mind off things. Even more, it’s a stimulating mental exercise!

    Monopoly

Like chess, Monopoly is one of the most popular board games around. While chess is based on battlefield tactics and strategy, Monopoly is economics-themed, with the sole objective being to bankrupt all opposition and obtain a “monopoly” of control over all the properties.

In Monopoly, players roll two dice to move their token pieces around the game board, purchasing, trading, and developing properties. The aim is to raise as much money as possible from opponents via rent or through lucky cards in Chance or Community chest. All the properties on the game board are valued differently, and the objective is to own choice spots to double or even quadruple income in rent.

Although the game has its basic, standard rules, players often make up several house rules to provide a unique twist and make the game more fun and challenging. Modern Monopoly was derived from “Lizzie Magie’s The Landlord’s Game” in 1903 and is now a licensed product of the Parker Brothers (integrated into Hasbro in 1991).

A minimum of two players can enjoy Monopoly. However, the advent of modern computer technology means you can enjoy playing against an AI with just about the same level of thrill. If you’re ever bored and need to play games to take your mind off things, Monopoly is a great choice.

    Scrabble

Scrabble is one of the most recognizable board games around. In Scrabble, the aim is to spell as many correct words as possible while strategically placing the letter tiles on special sections of the board to earn the most points.

Although the ability to spell words correctly is an essential aspect of Scrabble, the ability to place the tiles on the “premium” squares to earn maximum points is just as valued. The key is not just to spell the correct words but also to strategically do it in such a way that will make you score many points.

Like Monopoly, Scrabble is a licensed product of the company Hasbro. The game can be played by at least two players, with a maximum of four individuals, and the objective is to score as many points as possible before the tiles run out.

As Scrabble is basically a spelling game, it’s only normal to have fixed rules regarding lexicon that are not allowed. For instance, hyphenated or apostrophized words are not allowed in English Scrabble. The many nuances in the spelling rules are a part of what makes Scrabble so exciting.

If you like wordplay and fancy your chances at out-spelling your opponent, then Scrabble is the game of choice for you. Like Chess and Monopoly, you can choose to download one of many free mobile apps to enjoy the game against remote opponents or the AI.

    Video Gaming

Since Spacewar was developed in the mid-20th century to be played on mainframes and minicomputers, video games have grown in popularity. Today, hundreds of gaming franchises are available in various genres, each attracting its own host of loyal fans and fanatics.

Early computer hardware was not sophisticated enough to facilitate the development of more enhanced games. However, the introduction of microprocessors in computer engineering radically altered that dynamic. Cartridge-based consoles were the first to enter the market, spawning various classic video games like Space Invaders and Pac-Man.

After the video game crash of 1983, Japanese giant Nintendo took over the global gaming industry, churning out the first major handheld device- the Gameboy. More advancements in computer graphics technology saw the rise of companies like Microsoft and Sony and their flagship Xbox and PlayStation consoles, respectively. Today, these two consoles are by far the most popular in the gaming industry.

Videogames are incredibly immersive and can take any form of boredom away for a long time. There are different genres available too. If you like sports, there are gaming equivalents of popular sports like football, basketball, baseball, and wrestling. Arcade, adventure, role-playing, and car racing games are just as popular, with many popular titles having the eternal loyalty of generations of game lovers.

If you’re deeply bored and need a game to keep you lively, launch a console game and get twiddling your thumbs on the pad. Alternatively, if you have a PC with rich specifications, you can equally keep yourself immersed in your favorite video games.

    Card Games

Card games are one of the most exciting forms of entertainment. As such, they’re guaranteed to make your boredom disappear wherever you may be. These games are unique as they can be played in several ways, each with unique rules that bring in various elements of difficulty.

Many card games are played with the standard 52-card deck. They’re popular because they’re easy to adapt and modify, portable, and much easier to set up than many other games.

    Popular card games include:

    •             Cribbage

    •             500 Rum

    •             Poker

    •             Solitaire

    •             Hearts

    •             Gin Rummy

    •             Palace

    •             Blackjack

    •             Peanuts

    •             Spades

Card games provide several hours of fun and entertainment to lift your spirits and excite everyone involved. Asides from the classic 52-card deck, there are several unique cards that you can play, such as:

    •             Magic – The Gathering

    •             Yu-Gi-Oh

    •             Pokémon

Various card games are available to play at online casinos. However, if you’re serious about winning, you should take the time to check out real money casinos for Australian players to see which options best suit you.

    Snakes and Ladders

It sometimes feels that Snakes and Ladders have been around since forever – such is their popularity. Today, the game is regarded as a classic. It was first brought into the UK in the 1890s after originating in ancient India. The game is played on a game board with gridded, numbered squares. Several “snakes” and “ladders” feature on the board, linking two squares.

The game aims to navigate the entire board using die rolls, progressing from the bottom square at the beginning to the top square at the end. The ladders help one ascend, while the snakes are pitfalls that bring players to lower regions on the board.

Two or more participants can enjoy Snakes and Ladders. However, like many other board games today, there are internet versions that allow players to compete remotely or against a tough AI.

Today, Snakes and Ladders is known by other names, including Bible Ups and Downs and Chutes and Ladders. The board grids are often of varying sizes but are most commonly 12 by 12, 10 by 10, or 8 by 8 squares. Each player is represented by distinct onboard tokens, with dice rolled to determine movement.

Some games utilize a single die, while others feature two dice. The latter results in a shorter game, while the former leads to lengthier games. Snakes and Ladders are a truly fun way to stave off boredom. The rules are very simple, and the gaming duration is brief, so you can play all over again for as long as you want.

    Conclusion

Just like casino games, the games discussed in this piece can be incredibly immersive; they are really great ways to stave off boredom. Indeed, recreation is quite essential for our mental, physical and social well-being. However, like many other things, it is best done in moderation.

  • Online Blackjack Tips That Can Turn You Into A Better Player

Blackjack is a part of the most common and widely played casino games that is very beneficial when played with utmost concentration, skills, and strategy. Playing this online casino game requires adequate knowledge of mathematical skills, focus, and keen attention to minute details. Not only is it entertaining but you can also be playing Blackjack online for money and get the best out of it.

Blackjack played in physical casinos is great but when compared to online blackjack where a lot of modifications and improvements are made, players now prefer utilizing it due to its convenience and better odds. Online Blackjack in contrast to playing Blackjack in physical casinos provides a better avenue to becoming successful, especially when you choose the right site that may be able to boost your winning odds.

With a wide range of benefits, including playing Blackjack online for money, there are various tips and strategies that you must always remember to achieve the best result out of your playing experience. To play online Blackjack successfully and make money out of it, the under-listed tips would be of great assistance to you and turn you into a better player.

    1. Choose The Most Appropriate Online Casino That Suits You

The most distinct thing about online Blackjack to playing Blackjack in a physical casino is its accessibility, through the use of various versions of the game that provides you with different odds to choose from. In an actual casino, players' options are not sufficient in contrast to its online counterpart where you have several options to pick from.

Some online casinos provide you with different odds on Blackjacks, others provide more bonuses. Some online casinos make use of countdown timers to play what you have been dealt, others provide you with unlimited time to think, analyze and carefully play. Therefore, be able to decipher which one of the sites or apps best suits you before embarking on the game. Some of the popular online Blackjack versions available are European Blackjack, Progressive Blackjack, and Spanish 21.

These games are easy to learn in a few minutes with adequate research and hold a large similarity to traditional Blackjack. The important advantage these other versions have to regular Blackjack is their ability to slightly reduce their house edge due to some little differences in the rules. Being able to reduce the house edge by even a little can be very advantageous to you, this is because it can result in you getting more profits and reduced losses in your coming future experiences.

    2. Be Aware of The Number of Decks of Cards to be Used

It is very important to discover the number of decks of cards each of the various casinos make use of because it would enable you to easily keep a record of the sequence of cards that have been played with lesser decks. Several online sites and apps make use of a Random Number Generator (RNG) that shuffles the existing cards following each hand, therefore making it futile to keep track of the played cards.

In online Blackjack you cannot count cards, however, being able to remember what cards have been played previously can serve as a way to assist you in boosting your odds for the game. Therefore, it is advisable to choose sites/apps that employ the use of fewer decks of cards possible, as sole deck Blackjack games have proven to be better at making you learn the sequence of the game quicker, and in the coming future earn more from your experience.

    3. Properly Examine The Table

Do not forget that several online casinos provide alternative variations of the actual Blackjack game online. Observe the table properly because within lies a vast amount of information that can be of great help to you when finalizing your decision. A site/app with a table paying 3-2 Blackjack in contrast to another site/app that pays Blackjack at 6-5, would be more beneficial and advantageous as it would enable you to gain more profits in your company's future endeavors.

Whereas, a table demanding a hit on a soft 17 by the dealer will be more profitable to the casino than to you. Supposing an alternative variant enables you to give up a poor hand in contrast to the dealers’ card that is more powerful, it would be more advantageous to you. Observe and properly identify the rules of the table and identify the alternate variant you are going to be playing.

Remember, resist choosing online Blackjack games at random, do a proper selection that would be more beneficial to you.

    4. Employ the Use of a Strategy Card

Following a simple strategy to assist you in playing Blackjack is a part of the most important tip to take note of if you want to be playing Blackjack online for money and to become successful. These strategy cards would enable you to properly identify the exact time to stay or hit according to what is available with the dealer.

Having in mind that some sheets of cards have proven to be more aggressive than others, ensure you discover the exact strategy that works for you. The most favorable strategy that can get you the maximum out of your winning odds is the Basic Blackjack strategy. So, try as much as possible to study and master this basic strategy and adequately utilize it in your future games.

Although including other techniques and strategies in your game might heighten your winning chances, learning the basics is still the first step you need to employ for you to become a pro player. Most times players fail to understand that the casino has an upper hand against them when playing Blackjack. So, the aim of utilizing the basic Blackjack strategy is not necessarily to win but to increase your chances of winning and incur minimal losses.

The basic Blackjack strategy involves assigned rules that will assist you in understanding the right method to execute all your dealt hands. This strategy has proven to be the best winning strategy and learning how to properly use it would enable you to become a better Blackjack player.

    5. Carry Out Research on the Site/App's Definite Payout Procedures

Every online casino comes with different steps that must be followed for you to qualify for payment. Some sites/apps require you to stake a particular amount of money before cashing out, others require you to reach a particular amount before cashing out. Although these are the common rules most sites place before withdrawal, it is also necessary for you to always check out what the rules are, of the site/app you are using to play before you deposit your money into it.

For instance, if you initially planned to stake a hundred dollars ($100) and you found a site or an app that demands you stake five hundred dollars ($500) before you cash out, out without the additional fees. Discovering this information before depositing your money would be of great advantage to you because you now decide if you can take on such a risk or simply move on to a different site.

Since there is a large variety of online Blackjack sites and apps to choose from with different payment procedures, always know that there is an available site out there that will adequately suit your needs, goal, and budget. So, properly find and select the site/app that works best for you, according to your needs, budget, and goal. Finally, it is also important to take into consideration the fact that you might likely play again soon before cashing out.

This is because in some cases where you have initially won a hundred dollars ($100), but would require you a twenty dollars ($20) payment to cash out, it would be more favorable for you to leave the money on the site/app until you have successfully gotten an amount that would not demand a payment fee before you successfully make your withdrawal. The reason is that you would just be paying money to withdraw money that you would ultimately deposit back into the game.

    6. Practice With Free Games

As the old saying goes "practice makes perfect." For you to become a better player of online Blackjack, make use of your available resources to practice the ins and out's of the game as it would grant you prior experience when playing it for real. Before embarking on any online Blackjack for actual money, it is beneficial for you to practice different hands to enable you to get accustomed to the pace and practice how to utilize your strategy card.

Practicing enables you to get a feel of what to expect at a live table and prevents you from experiencing any surprises while playing the actual game. Several apps and sites provide you with free practice sessions before you proceed into real online betting. Therefore, make the best out of this offer and prepare yourself fully for the real deal.

    Conclusion

Compared to a physical casino, when constantly playing online Blackjack and getting used to it, you find yourself actively enjoying the better player benefits and options they made available for you. Options that would enable you to get the most out of your gaming experience by saving your time, and money and reducing your risk simultaneously. The best part is, that you take part in this experience all from the comfort of your home. So, ensure you follow these above-mentioned tips if you want to become a better player and earn profits out of your gaming experience.

    6. Call of Duty

Valhalla players and the entire Viking squad have a variety of activities to participate in, including raids, drinking contests, and even rap battles.

The game’s mode displays a sprawling English setting and some elements of Norse mythology. Valhalla gets deeper into the multi-layered RPG-like progression systems in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Assassin’s Creed Origins, allowing the player to develop Elvor into the ultimate warrior.

    8. Gears Tactics

Gears Tactics is renowned for various reasons. Players can engage in visceral shootouts with their squad from a clever, turn-based, top-down perspective. As the player combats the Locust, the player’s character levels up and could consequently become outfitted with unlockable skills, mods, and gear.

Although Gears Tactics doesn’t have a multiplayer mode, the game displays a challenging campaign that could take the player 30 hours to win. While there are few Gears games expected in the games industry, Tactics has shown that there’s room for various degrees of experiences for players.

    9. Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Animal Crossing: New Horizons became popular in the country during the heat of the pandemic when people were under lockdown in 2020. However, the game is still popular among gamers across the country. Players control a character that motions toward a deserted island to develop the island over time.

Immediately after its March 2020 release, the game quickly gained a massive following, registering 5 million gamers in the first month. The readily customizable title quickly took the second bestseller position on the Nintendo Switch and the 15th bestseller spot in the history of video games – even though the game was only available on one platform.

    10. PUBG

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds is another popular game in the Battle Royale category, with millions of fans worldwide. Apart from being in the Battle Royale games category, every battle in PUBG is unique. While the game feels like just another Fortnite’ copy’, it will become apparent after the first few sessions that it’s entirely different.

For instance, Fortnite players have sometimes complained about having limited content and that they had to use the same weapons and maps repeatedly. PUBG features a map of 8 x 8 kilometers. Like most Battle Royale games, the game is a fight to survive. The island’s last man alive wins the game. Meanwhile, the game isn’t a walk in the park – each player battles against 99 others.

Dropping on the island too soon could pose a risk of an early exit for a player. You want to take cover while searching for weapons and other utilities to avoid getting hit by enemy weapons. Players who know when’s best to take cover or to attack stand a fair chance of outliving several other players.

    11. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was one of the most popular online video games among Canada’s professional gamers. It’s a team-based game, pitching terrorists against counter-terrorists. Depending on a player’s chosen side, the game assigns the player a mission to diffuse bombs and kill terrorists or soldiers.

CO: GO features nine modes, which include arms race, danger zone, and demolition. The game unites the most skilled gamers in the world for annual esports championships. The top players get away with millions of dollars.

    Conclusion

In various ways, Canadians have entertained themselves and earned by playing online video games, including the above 11 most popular video games in the country.

Regardless of demography, Canadians love video games – and there are stats to prove that. Statistics also reveal that Canadian game developers release multiple quality titles across different categories.

Let us remember together how CDPR managed to reach such heights and how they managed to evolve from a grassroots and grey-horse in the huge market of the game industry into giants and AAA-class game developers.

CD Projekt RED's triumphant march began back in 2007, with the unsightly first installment of the Witcher series.

    The Witcher

The first RPG in the series, which began development back in 2004 was the starting point of this legendary story. In the first part, the player takes control of the main character of Andrzej Sapkowski's literary world — the witch doctor Geralt, of Rivia.

Action of the first game takes place after the events of the saga of the witch — barely survived, Heralt of Rivia falls into oblivion and is forced to re-learn his “witchcraft”. In turn, the player recovers the lost experience of the protagonist by fighting human opponents and monsters. At the same time, he is faced with a moral choice on which the fate of the game world depends. The title faithfully depicts the dark atmosphere of the universe of novels, but its plot is not officially supported by author Andrzej Sapkowski himself.

As I have already mentioned, the development of the first game in the series started in 2004 and lasted for four years, and the game used not the familiar “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” — “RED Engine”, but the engine “Aurora” from BioWare.

The game was well-received by critics, who praised its storyline, graphics, soundtrack and combat system, but criticised the technical bugs; most of these were corrected in the September 2008 “supplemental edition”, which also added a new adventure for the player. However, already in 2011 a sequel called The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings was released and many people had forgotten about the first part.

    The Witcher 2

The sequel was not long in coming. The second RPG series — “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” developed by the Polish company CD Projekt RED based on the novel series “The Witcher” by famous Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, a sequel to the computer game “The Witcher” 2007 issue.

The game came out in the same year as, no less beautiful game, “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim”, which essentially nullified all the attention in relation to the game. But from this interesting and no less exciting, in its own way, the story of the continuing wanderings of the “monster hunter” has not become worse. The protagonist is still the witch of Rivia, Geralt. According to Andrzej Sapkowski, he was still not involved in the development of the game's plot and didn't even know about its creation.

The plot, however, compared to the first part of the Witcher series, has become even more developed. It also became known that in the story, Geralt will be travelling a lot, and there will be a lot of powerful magic involved in the game's plot. The developers have ensured a high level of replayability, and by the middle of the game, the possible variations of the story can vary greatly from one to the other.

As I've mentioned before, the new “The Witcher” story uses an entirely new multiplatform game engine called “RED Engine”, developed in-house studio CDPR, especially for the game, and as the physics engine used the old-fashioned and familiar to us all Havok.

According to the same developers, “RED Engine” focuses not only on graphics and physics, but also on building a non-linear quest system. The graphics engine supports dynamic shadows, normal mapping and parallax mapping. In comparison to the first game of the series, the textures have become more detailed, the time of day has become more realistic, as well as the weather phenomena.

The developers from CD Projekt RED did not finish their work. Sometime after the game's release, new rumors began to appear, that the studio is in full swing to develop the next part.

    The Witcher 3

The release of the third installment of the series was said back in 2011. At that time, Mr. Adam Kiczyński — at that time the head of Optimus, a subsidiary studio of CD Projekt RED — said that The Witcher game was originally created with the expectation of several sequels and that the game industry is quite normal to release another part of the series every two or three years. He suggested that The Witcher 3 could be released as early as 2014 or 2015.

This time, writer Andrzej Sapkowski — the creator of the books, on which the gaming universe is based — did not take part in its development, although he provided the developers some advice on the map game world and the names of characters. Earlier, Sapkowski himself had declared that he had no interest in computer games and considered the CD Projekt RED games to be a “free adaptation” of his works. In the aftermath, realizing his mistake, Mr. Sapkowski will decide to request a round sum from the developers, but that's a completely different story…

“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” is a multiplatform PC RPG developed by the studio CD Projekt RED we know, based on the Witcher series of novels by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and released in 2015 for PC, and current generation consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One).

The game is a direct sequel to the computer games The Witcher and The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and the final part of the White Wolf trilogy.

A lot of guys started streaming this game because the gameplay is so intriguing that it involves hundreds of thousands of people. They shared their achievements on social media. And budding bloggers often have to buy Instagram followers, because it's hard to promote an account on your own.

The game is set in a fictional fantasy world, somewhat reminiscent of the medieval Europe of the late 14th century. As we already know, the protagonist is the “Butcher of Blaviken”, a “witch” — a professional monster hunter who embarks on a journey to find a “Destiny Child” named Ciri, who possesses supernatural powers.

Unlike previous games in the series, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is an open-world game: the player is free to travel across vast territories, find new locations, quests and points of interest independently.

The game received extremely high scores from the press: reviewers praised the storytelling, world design, combat system and graphics of the game. “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” was also a commercial success, selling over 10 million copies of the game.

It garnered a number of “Best Game of the Year” awards from various publications and organizations. Two expansive expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, were released, also highly praised by reviewers.

The game has become not only the most memorable project of 2015 but also the most significant RPG project of recent years. This year The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt will be celebrating its four-year anniversary and so far, it is the best complete and most ambitious RPG game so far.

CD Projekt RED is currently working on an equally ambitious project called Cyberpunk 2077. It has every chance of surpassing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as well as failing miserably. I'd like to believe the best for the studio and for the White Wolf series.

After all, the series doesn't end there. The second project, which is being developed, at the moment, the studio may well be a game in the universe of The Witcher, or it could be a completely new project that will be inspired by the series of “monster hunter”.

The world and universe of The Witcher is limitless, it can pull you in for tens or even hundreds of hours and there's nothing you can do about it. If for some very strange reason you still haven't read the delightful books in The Witcher series of novels or played The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, then feel free to start doing it now!

    List of innovations

    ·     The game world is approximately 30 times larger than in the previous game in the series (it would take more than 40 minutes of real-time to traverse the mainland on horseback).

    ·        A completely open world with different regions inhabited by unique peoples.

    ·        Various transports for moving between locations are available.

    ·        The game is developed on the REDengine 3 engines, which allows, according to the developers, to set new standards for the look and feel of role-playing games.

    ·        The story is not divided into chapters as in past games.

    ·        The story is based on the third Nilfgaard invasion of the Northern Kingdoms.

    ·        Geralt's memory is fully regained.

    ·     Tasks are divided into several levels of importance. Decisions made by the player now have an even greater impact on the world around them.

    ·        Of course, it is only possible to complete the game through the main storyline.

    ·        Twice as many cinematic cutscenes appear in the game as in the second part of the series.

    ·        The game features complex puzzles as well as a multivariate combat system known from the previous parts of the trilogy, but with numerous tweaks.

    ·        The game has been released on both eighth-generation consoles (PlayStation 4, XboxOne) and PC.

    ·        An important element of the game is now the hunting of monsters. Different creatures must now be handled individually.

    ·      The level of monsters is not related to the player's level. That is, in order to travel to locations with high-level monsters, you will have to properly pump the hero.

    ·     You can earn a living by taking contracts to kill monsters.

    ·     Some quests may require you to conduct a thorough investigation. Geralt has a special ability “witch sense”, using which the player will see important objects needed to complete the task, as well as hints.

    ·      There is a dynamic change in weather conditions.

    ·     During combat, you can interact with the surrounding objects. For example, the sign Aard to stir up the bees' nest, and while the enemy fights off the insects to escape.

    ·     Changed the effect of some characters.

    ·     Enemy AI is completely redesigned.

    ·     For Geralt, 97 different movements in combat have been drawn. The great complexity of combats is corrected in the direction of availability and ease of mastering.

    ·        Inventory system improved — added ability to stack items in saddlebags.

    ·      The ability to create armour and weapons was retained. However, if the player does not want to create items, he can walk around in what he gets for completing quests or killing monsters.

    ·        Geralt will let go of his beard. In addition, a hairstyle change feature will be available.

    ·        New mini-games have appeared. For example, the gwint. Their importance is not great, but for victory is given a good reward.

    ·        Above the game worked for twice as many teams as the first parts of the series.

    ·        The gameplay continues the ideas of the second part of the computer saga, but with more advantages.

    Players can expect:

    ·        Dynamic weather changes and real volumetric cloud models;

    ·        Revised combat system. Combat mechanics is based on the principles of previous games, but the team has revised a lot of details. For example, the roll will be replaced by the pirouette, which is designed to retain the defensive function without losing mobility; you can parry or dodge a blow even if you run out of energy, but losing your balance; the ability to interact with the environment during the battle, for example, to stir up a hive with Aard sign to cause additional damage to enemies. There will be 96 animations of Geralt's movements in battle (the last game included 20 animations). CD Projekt RED reports that swordsmanship experts were involved in the creation of the combat animations. A stuntman is also used to capture the movements. Overall, the developers have created a clearer and more intuitive combat system. Enemy AI is completely redesigned.

    ·       The badge system has been redesigned. For example, each of the five signs will have a primary form, and as you progress through the selected branch it will be possible to unlock the secondary form of the sign, for example, the Igni sign in its primary form allows you to cast flames. The secondary form deals circular damage. Both forms of the mark will be available.

    ·        Improved inventory system and the ability to stack items in saddlebags.

    ·        Items, armor and weapons crafting are retained.

    ·        The game has the ability to import saved data from the previous installment.

    ·        The level of the enemies is not adjusted to the character's level. (In game settings there is the possibility to enable auto-leveling)

    ·       The “witch's gut” mechanic has been updated, it will allow you to see clues and traces.

    ·       Hunting now has more significance to the game.

    ·      Passing the main storyline takes about 50 hours of the game. Side quests will take about the same amount. During this time the hero will be able to level up to the maximum level of 70.
