Colonialism in games is a far-reaching topic. On the one hand, most games use the basic template of colony expansion without focusing on the literal historical instances of cruelty.

On the other... Gaming media interprets this to be an endorsement of the entire topic through the specific lens of what happened in America, Centuries ago.

The idea that we should be cognizant of what colonization WAS, many decades ago, is admirable... the agenda that it should result in the topic being avoided, stripped away, or unduly catered to because of subjective, pathetic sensitivity... is not.
