I don't know what happened to the genre in the last couple years, but "crowdfunded MMORPGs" are running rampant and honestly? They're ruining the genre by taking advantage of how many of us are looking for something fresh, new and exciting.. and ultimately disappointing us. They either cease development part-way through, deliver something entirely different to what they promised us, or stop updating all together. Why are we continuing to support MMOs and "developers" that practice this?
NOTE: I don't mean ALL crowdfunded MMOs. I just mean A LOT of them. And no, I don't mean crowdfunded games in general. Just specifically MMOs.
