The Dallas Empire has a very rough start to the season, getting 3-1'd and 3-0'd by the Chicago Huntsmen and Atlanta FaZe, respectively. After disappointing again at the London Home Series by losing to the Chicago Huntsmen 3-0 in the finals, they were at an all time low. However, their fortunes quickly changed as they managed to overcome a challenging Minnesota Rokkr in the finals of the LA Home Series, becoming the third CDL home series winners. This helped them build confidence going into the online shift, eventually allowing them to win another two home series over the course of the season and finishing the season as the second seed!
