In The Swapper you play an astronaut marooned on a remote space station, alone but for a collection of mysterious talking boulders and up to four clones at any one time, created with your clone gun.

These clones copy your every move, and therefore can be remotely manipulated to stand on pressure plates or fall down deadly abysses. Quite a lot of the latter happens in the video above.

We later learn how to swap bodies with a clone to solve more complicated puzzles. In the process, we leave our astronaut's original body behind in a broken heap, along with all the other disposable clones.

We appear to wrestle with philosophical questions of identity and cloning bioethics by shouting "ethical implications!" whenever a clone dies. We're ready for our philosophy Pulitzers? Nobel Prizes? We'll take whatever's going.
