Mortal Kombat X is a fighting video game currently in development by NetherRealm Studios. It is the tenth main installment in the Mortal Kombat series ("X" being the Roman numeral for ten, despite the phonetic pronunciation). The game is scheduled to be released on April 14, 2015 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows, and will be ported to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by High Voltage Software.
