11 Far Cry 5 Settings Ranked in Order of Brilliance

Where should Far Cry 5 be set? Ubisoft recently sent a survey to selected Far Cry players, polling them with ideas for the next Far Cry game. The survey includes 11 possible settings, including a zombie outbreak, the Old West and a dinosaur island in the style of Jurassic Park. Some of these sound great, while others we would move to Kyrat to avoid. Here are those 11 ideas for Far Cry 5 settings ranked from least to most brilliant.

As usual, dinosaurs are top of the list. Dinosaur DLC was the hot rumour for Far Cry 3, and when it failed to materialise, people were a bit put out. They had Blood Dragon to keep them busy, but still. With Jurassic World on the horizon, dinos are So Hot Right Now. If you're ever going to add velociraptors to Far Cry, Ubisoft, now is the time.
