The developers promise Hitman: No Subtitle has the biggest maps of any Hitman game ever, with more routes in, out and around the place than you can shake a custom silverballer at.

The levels of Hitman are going to be busier too. The Parisian palace level in the Showstopper demo seen above contains over 300 "fully simulated" NPCs. By way of comparison, Hitman Absolution had 40 to 50 NPCs tops, even on its most crowded levels.

The idea is each of these NPCs will react in believable ways, and you're meant to use the newly reactive AI to your advantage. If you leave a bomb lying around, for example, chances are security guards will stumble across it, disarm it and haul it inside the building for you.

The first mission of this newly episodic Hitman game launches on 8 December 2015 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
