We've all been there: you're playing an excellent game, everything's going swimmingly, it might even be a candidate for Game of the Year for whichever authority gives that award out to every single game. Then it's nearly ruined by that awful platforming bit,

Fortunately these awful missteps, probably programmed by the work experience kid, aren't enough to spoil the overall sense that yes, this was a good game. They're just momentary speed bumps that jar you out of your otherwise entirely pleasant game-playing experience.
