Duleep Singh really was the last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire and good mates with Queen Victoria, which is why you find him hanging around in Buckingham Palace gardens. Not quite as much fun as hunting down a supernatural Jack the Ripper, but interesting nonetheless.

As per all Assassin's Creed games, the Assassins and the Templars can't help but get involved in real life historical events, in this case intercepting letters from the exiled Duleep Singh to his mother back in India. In practice, this mainly means throwing burly gentlemen off a train, which is right in our wheelhouse.
