Fans of classical fantasy haven't been able to revisit J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings universe in live-action since 2014, when the last Hobbit film was released. Thankfully, Amazon is producing a full-length television series set in Middle-earth's Second Age, starring a whole new cast of characters that we've yet to see onscreen. (Well, most of them, if rumors of a young Aragorn showing up are true.)
