ARK is a particularly hostile environment for a survival game. Whether it's carnivorous dinosaurs, giant ape-men or just dickish insects, you're never far from a fatal accident. There are also extremes of heat and cold, poisonous food and one Pterodactyl who has earned itself a permanent place on our shit list.
