Arknights Endfield is an anime 3d real-time strategy RPG featuring 4-character squad combat and automated factory building elements, this game launched in January 2026 cross platform on PC, PS5 and Mobile devices and has already surpassed 30 million downloads.
As of April 17th it’s just dropped it’s first core chapter update titled “At the wake of spring” which features a major story expansion, the highly anticipated new 6-star character Zhuang Fangyi, new explorable areas, new enemies, more factory building content and a brand new end game boss fight as well as new events and rewards.
I have never played the original Arknights which was actually more of a tower defence style game, however I have played pretty much every 3d anime RPG so I’m curious in checking out Arknights Endfield to see how it compares to other games in the genre.
