Like the original version, the Audeze Maxwell 2 puts audio quality above everything else, outclassing its contemporaries. It doesn't necessarily offer fancy features or drastic design improvements over its predecessor, but it remains comfortable for long sessions, even if it's heavier than what you might be used to. There's a lot of competition at the high-end and spending more than $300 for a gaming headset isn't a purchase to make lightly. But if you're in the market, the Audeze Maxwell 2 will not disappoint.
