The combat is a far cry from DONTNOD’s previous games. Banishers’ fast paced combat complements well with its slow-burn story.

It was a game that came out in the middle of major titles like Final Fantasy VI Rebirth. Despite the bad timing, it proved to be a surprise hit praised for its characters and complex choices that define its ending. It received a playscore of 8.5.
