Buried Face Down: The End of Battlefield V

Battlefield V is officially dead, after the game's final update sometime in June. The news comes in the form of a blog post on EA's official website.

There will be no new content beyond at least one map, a few guns, and potentially some other content. The move is surprising, given previous claims the game would be supported through the year. What are your thoughts on EA pulling the plug and killing BFV?
