Nickelodeon's jam-packed new fighting game, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, is shaping up to be big and full of iconic characters, but does it have what it takes to overcome the competitive Smash Bros scene?
IGN’s Brian Altano and Mitchell Saltzman discuss the new Nickelodeon fighting game and some of its features like the Wavedash, The Wavedash was an exploit originally introduced in Super Smash Bros. Melee and came back for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Mitchell and Brian talk about one of Mitchell’s recent tweets of SpongeBob SquarePants doing the Wavedash and how that tweet is resonating with the smash bros community.
They’ll also discuss what they liked about move sets from characters like SpongeBob SquarePants and CatDog. However, they note that they’re waiting for more videos surrounding characters like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) and April O’Neil.
Nickelodeon All Star Brawl Will release sometime later in 2021 on PlayStation 4 (PS4), Playstation 5 (PS5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
