Legion Commander is a very versatile hero who can lane all over the place, but I did a little jungling and ended up going for the bottle boots blink dagger build.
She can get away with this because she doesn't need very many stat items because she's healthy enough with her strength gain and int gain.
When you duel people and they die during the duel, it gives you a permanent damage bonus, which you can use to semi-hard carry in the mid-late game.
You have to be VERY careful with your item choices, though, or you can quickly get behind in farm, since you're a variety strength hero, so you can initiate, semi carry, support, and many other things. Hopefully your team has a fall back plan carry, because legion is often not that.
