Shadow Fiend's strengths as a hero surround hit strong right click, good aoe burst damage, and usefulness against tanky bkb carries because of his -armor aura.

I'm pretty bad at Shadow Fiend in the mid lane because my razes are weak, but playing him as a right click carry is pretty easily done, so I did that this game instead.

You have 2 build options for pubs, and it's either you get a BkB so that you can push and teamfight early, or you can buy a shadow blade so that you can run around and get kills and snowball off of those kills.

I decided to go the shadow blade build this game.
