Troll Warlord is a high dps, high mobility carry that is strong because of his massive damage increase from attack speed. Add in a natural bash and a decent amount of utility from his axes and you have some great burst damage and pushing capability.

Try to aim for movement speed/stat items in the early game then translate into major damage items like daedalus, monkey king bar, or butterfly, and sometimes throw in some magic immunity if you're having trouble getting locked down in teamfights.
