In this video we’re going to compare the graphics of the Nintendo Switch 2 port to the PC version running on an RTX 5090 with all the settings at their maximum values.
Similarly to FF7 Remake, this port of rebirth is an exceptional example of what’s possible on the switch 2. While it doesn’t run in 4k and at 60fps like its PC and console counterparts the game runs at a locked 30fps and is upscale to 1080p while docked thanks to DLSS upscaling. It also has noticeably lower texture quality when compared to the PC port, but other than that, it’s still very much the same game down to Sephiroth's perfectly conditioned hair.
Gameplay captured on a docked Nintendo Switch 2 and a PC via an RTX 5090.
