Gaming - A Battleground of Psychological Control

With a recent Twitch panel galvanizing the community into a frenzy over whether or not someone with clearly biased and agenda driven motivations should be appointed to a position of power... but the side effect, is that a lot of video game players are exposed to the ideological conflict that has been festering beneath the surface.

EA and its "no pixels for fascists initiative... in partnership with an organization controlled by an ex German Stasi informer, also begins to require the critical question of when, or at what point, does pursuit of a better environment, begin to create a worse environment in the process.

The TV Show Law and Order even did an episode on "Gamer-gate" when the series of events transpired in 2014... if the current trends continue to unfold, and spark a series of reactions on either side of the aisle... it could create a second wave of Gamer Gate esque friction between Gamers and outside groups.
