Gears of War Ultimate Edition remasters the original Gears of War, bringing the first Gears of War and all its DLC to Xbox One with 'modernised' multiplayer and reshot cinematics, plus dedicated servers for private and matchmade games.

Watch us chainsaw each other to bits in this Gears of War Remastered gameplay from the multiplayer beta, with Mike as Delta's blond bombshell Damon Baird and Jane as genero Locust Drone #43.

Gears of War Remastered's tweaked multiplayer adds enemy spotting, reviving while in cover, alternate controls and spectator slots, and means you're no longer invulnerable while in the original game's memorable lancer chainsaw execution animation.

The single-player, on the other hand, promises to bring re-mocapped cutscenes without the dead-eye stares. You'll also get access to Gears of War 4's multiplayer beta when it arrives in 2016.

Gears of War Ultimate Edition comes out on 25 August 2015.
