Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be released for Mobile devices in December 2013.

The game is a port of the original title released in 2004 with a newly remastered graphics, including dynamic and detailed shadows, greater draw distance, an enriched color palette, and enhanced character and car models.

The story is set in 1992, in the semi-fictional state of San Andreas and its three metropolitan cities: Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas.

After five years on the east coast, Carl Johnson returns to the city of Los Santos, San Andreas, to find numerous fellow members of the Grove Street Families dead and enemy gangs having dominance of the city. Carl must take over the city and get his old gang back on top before the city destroys itself.

The mobile version also features brand new touch controls including contextual control options to display buttons only when you need them and three different control schemes for driving and maneuvering, as well as reworked checkpoint system for easier progression.

GTA San Andreas for mobile also comes equipped with full controller support, including Made for iOS controller capability on iOS7.

The game will be available for select iOS, Android, Amazon Kindle and Windows Mobile devices.
