After 8 years I still don't know how redstone works and who better than the creators of the game themselves to teach me how? I better know how to build a computer after this.

I use redstone with the methods that Mojang books intended with their Minecraft Redstone Handbook that I purchased. I learn / use redstone contraptions with pistons according to Mojang's 1.16 book and replicate it in my own minecraft world. This is the CORRECT way to use Redstone.
