In the Heights is set in Washington Heights in New York, and follows bodega owner Usnavi (Anthony Ramos), who saves every penny from his daily grind as he hopes, imagines and sings about a better life.



The film, directed by Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians), is slated for release in summer 2020.
