Last of Us 2 Forever Shatters Critic Review Impressions

The Last of Us 2 is a highly controversial game, but the critic review consensus has strayed so far from a reasonable representation of how divisive the product will be it irreparably shatters the illusion of those reviews being an effective barometer for average players.

The game can be analyzed in a conceptual way, but ignoring what it really is, in favor of what you think its trying to say from a "high art" perspective is dishonest when understanding that a review has certain expectations and requirements from its audience.
