Rogue Company is a free-to-play third-person tactical action shooter that is being developed by First Watch Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios. Players control elite mercenaries known as Rogues, each with their own unique loadouts and abilities.

The game features objective-based gamemodes and various maps. Matches consist of multiple rounds, with each round beginning with both teams skydiving from aircraft to the map below to compete against each other in various objectives. Between rounds players may use money earned from completing tasks and eliminating players in the previous round to buy and upgrade weapons, equipment and perks.

Rogue Company is a top-secret syndicate of elite mercenaries around the globe. To most of the world, the elusive mercenaries are a rumor at best. However, to those in the know, Rogue Company operatives are indispensable to solving the world's deadliest and most challenging problems. Rogue Company contends with nefarious people and organizations, including the infamous JACKAL.

Rogues are the playable characters available in Rogue Company. There are currently 12 Rogues available in Rogue Company. Each has their own unique abilities and features. Each round of a match has a Rogue start with only their sidearm and unique abilities. Between rounds, players can upgrade their equipment and purchase weapons with in-game currency that is obtained from gameplay. This includes gadgets or melee weapons such as a grenade or a throwable axe. Rogues can be further customized through their appearance, wingsuits, and weapon wraps, or by using Sprays and Emotes.
