We can finally get a good look at the Oilwell Basin’s Apex, the Black Flame, with this exclusive full hunt gameplay in Monster Hunter Wilds. Spoilers ahead, we're about to name this powerful, slippery new monster for the first time...
The Oilwell Basin's Apex Predator is named Nu Udra, a cephalopod with a unique skeleton completely new to Monster Hunter, making for a tough fight with its unpredictable and impressive movements.
Recordings of Monster Hunter Wilds were taken from an in-development version of the game. Contents may differ in the product version. The build used for this gameplay also does not reflect some of the adjustments that were discussed in the December Community Update video (and was played before the update was published.)
