The Predator comes to Mortal Kombat X this week as a new DLC character. Witness the intergalactic hunter in action in this Xbox One gameplay, with footage from all three of his gruesome variations.

The Predator’s first variation is Warrior, which gives him access to various close-up melee strikes as well as his self-destruct ability, that drains some of his health, but more of his opponent’s.

Next is Hish-Qu-Ten, which equips the Predator with his trademark shoulder cannon that he can either fire off quickly, or aim for a precision shot on jumping or crouching enemies.

The third variation is Hunter, which lets the Predator heal himself with a quick syringe to the thigh, as well as a snare trap that flips enemies upside down and leaves them vulnerable to a follow up attack.

The DLC also comes with new Carl Weathers, commando and infra red skins for Jax, Johnny and Scorpion, as well as some neat movie references, such as the fact that Erron Black’s X-ray bullet reads ‘ugly mofo’ when fired at the Predator.
