NFTs in FFXIV? Asmongold OUTRAGED by Square Enix Plan

Asmongold reacts to a New Year's letter from FFXIV developer Square Enix, specifically from the president of the company Yosuke Matsuda. President's 2022 Resolution is to expand into the "metaverse" and perhaps INTRODUCE NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and Blockchain into their games such as Final Fantasy 14! Asmongold is outraged by people's naivety and wants to WARN YOU on the dangers of NFTs and get-rich-quick schemes as someone who, as it turns out, used to scam people himself. Will this ruin one of the best MMO? Is this just a passing trend or are NFTs in games here to stay?
