Metal Gear Solid 5's online action abides by the same rules as the game proper and contains most of the same systems, and yet somehow still works with up to 16 humans sprinting around trying to attach balloons to one another.

The familiar gadgets are only the start of it. There's also brand new, similarly bizarre gear to be unlocked as you climb the ranks, including the plushy snare: a cuddly decoy version of DD that paralyses anyone who spots it with its plushy cuteness.

Wormholes, Fulton cannons and active camouflage are all also eventually at your disposal, making this a game that rewards deception and elaborate trolling as much as twitch reflexes and a crackshot aim. Study Mike and Andy's battlefield report in the video above.
