Wonder whether or not the Steam Deck can handle Bethesda's latest? We downloaded the Oblivion Remaster on to Valve's handheld console to see how The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered runs on the Steam Deck. Unfortunately it recommends you set everything to low to maintain a decent performance. Inside caves you'll see 40 - 60 frames per second, while open world gameplay can dip below 30 fps. Any settings above medium and the game crashes for us. Here's ten minutes of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered running on Steam Deck.
