With a rising proliferation of online scams, one of the latest examples brought to my attention has been an impersonation scheme regarding "OpenTable" which pulls victims into a funnel of increasingly large deposits to unlock alleged profits.

In reality, the entire thing is a carefully designed scheme to steal as much as possible from desperate job seekers, raking in almost a quarter million dollars per week from the four wallets I was able to find.

Don't fall for it. Awareness is the best weapon against online scamming.
