We got our first look at Sophie Turner as Lara Croft in Prime Video’s Tomb Raider series, and Sons of Anarchy’s Ryan Hurst will be playing Kratos in the God of War show, and Super Mario, Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat are all getting new movies later this year, and these are just a few of the long long list of video game movies and shows, live-action or animated, that have been announced at some point in recent memory. Will we ever see a Duke Nukem or Days Gone or Comix Zone movie? Who knows, but A24’s Overcooked better deliver, or we’re leaving a bad yelp review.
