UFL is finally here globally, and it might be the biggest new competition FC Mobile has seen in a long time.

After all the hype, comments, early reactions and comparisons to FC Mobile, I jumped into UFL myself to see if this football game is actually worth playing or if people are just overhyping another mobile football title.

In this video, we take a full first look at UFL – Football Game 2026, including the home screen, tutorial, first player pack, squad building, team management, Career Mode, match presentation, gameplay feel, controls, player progression, packs, events, tournaments, club customization and the overall long-term potential of the game.

UFL immediately stands out because of its clean UI, smooth menus, broadcast-style match intros, player walkouts, pre-match handshakes and surprisingly polished presentation for a mobile football game. But the biggest thing that makes UFL different is Career Mode. A proper structured football journey on mobile, with progression, match tiers, rewards, events and squad improvement that gives the game more depth than just daily events and random packs.

The gameplay also feels more patient and tactical. You cannot just sprint through everyone. Passing has weight, through balls feel powerful, player stats actually matter, shooting feels satisfying and building attacks properly feels rewarding. The controls do take some time to adjust, but once you find the right setup, the game starts to feel much better.

We also break down the card system, player training, rank-ups, trade-out mechanics, Star Pass, quests, rewards, tournaments, Rivals, friendly matches and the different ways UFL keeps you progressing without making everything feel wasted.

Right now, UFL has a very strong foundation. The presentation is impressive, Career Mode gives it a real identity, the progression feels fair, and the gameplay has enough depth to keep players interested.
