This Was An Underrated Year for Ubisoft Games

Experts have debated for many years when the fall of Ubisoft began, when did this company go so wrong. Some may think it was during the tragedy of the Demi gods in 2018 others may think it was the more recent years when microtransactions became more prominent but ironically enough I believe it started in the exact year I will be talking about in this video. The year of Ubisoft games that I find to be extremely underrated, and is likely considered a failure in the eyes of Ubisoft. It was a year before Ubisoft sold their soul to the mediocrity giant. That year is 2014. This was an underrated year for ubisoft games. 2014 was a very important year for Ubisoft the now current generation of consoles had just come out recently And Ubisoft was not only going for their most ambitious games visually speaking yet, but they were also creating big new IPs. In 2014 we got Watch Dogs 1, Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4, and Assassin's Creed Rogue. The opinions on nearly every one of these games were very controversial on release and I don’t think a single one of them had met many people's expectations. But I'm quite fond of all of these games and most of them are close to my favorites in each of their respective series.
