Marvel’s Spider-Man comes out on September 7th, and it’s already getting rave reviews. Developers Insomniac have gone above and beyond to craft an open world game that not only does the character justice, but gives us the Marvel RPG many of us have been long awaiting ever since DC and Rocksteady made the superhero video game genre credible again with the Arkham franchise. There has been a lot of talk leading up to Spider-Man’s release about what other parts of the Marvel universe may make an appearance in the game, and if those references and Easter Eggs will act as an entry point for the introduction of a grander Marvel video game universe. While that’s all still unconfirmed, the Easter Eggs found so far in the game are really fantastic, and exactly what you’d expect from a Marvel property.
