In this video we attempt to fix a VW Golf Mk5 with a traction control (ESP) fault. The warning light is on which means it will fail the upcoming MOT so the car cannot be used in the UK unless it is fixed. To get Volkswagen to do the job would probably cost more than the car is worth, hence the reason we are attempting it ourselves. We are not mechanics, but let's see what the job entails, and what caused the traction control to fail. Apparently it is a very common problem across a range of cars.

Remember that this is just for entertainment and I am not an expert in these repairs. The processes in the video may not be the best way, the correct way or the safest way to fix these things. I do love fault finding and trying to fix broken things, so I hope that comes across in these videos.
Many thanks, Vince.
