Wuthering Waves is a free to play anime, action RPG with a gacha style progression system that I initially covered on the channel back in August 2024, back then I remember really enjoying the games combat but at the time I wasn’t a huge fan of the world design and thought it lacked visual diversity in the biomes and themes.
Well now it’s been 2 years since Wuthering Waves initially launched and A LOT of content has been added to the game, the world has been expanded massively with two huge regions, there’s new traversal mechanics such as flying and motorbike riding, new bosses, a cosmetic outfit system was added, the story has done through two full regional arcs and is now in a third, fishing was added, combat was improved and the character roster was expanded significantly.
After my previous video I did actually continue to play Wuthering Waves for several months and got to union level 47 however with all the new content that’s been added since then I’ve got a hell of a lot of catching up to do, so in this video I’ll be doing just that, I’ll play for 20-30 hours to see as much new stuff as possible, catch up to the current main story, maybe get lucky with a gacha pull then give my updated thoughts on the game at the end.
