In this video I talk about how the modern day story line in Assassin's Creed has failed to deliver ever since the death of Desmond Miles in Assassin's Creed 3. Layla's arc from Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Assassin's Creed Valhalla, has been pretty decent yet it stills fails to capture the intrigue and excitement that Desmond's arc did throughout Assassin's Creed 1 , 2 , Brotherhood, Revelations, and AC3.
