EA just announced the effective end of Battlefield 2042 support studio DICE LA. But don't worry, it's only being renamed - right? Ripple Effect Studios is the new moniker, and will create an unannounced standalone title in addition to supporting Battlefield for the time being. Respawn's Vince Zampella is the studio head. What does it mean for the Battlefield franchise?
