At Gamescom 2024 we played around 30 minutes of Cairn, the indie mountain climbing title from the makers of Furi and Haven. Combining intricate, freeform climbing with unforgiving survival mechanics, Cairn hopes to tell a story of overcoming internal and external obstacles, and become 'the Dark Souls of climbing games'.
