Quas Exort Invoker has pretty strong lane control because of his good damage, and lane harass, but his potential to get kills generally relies on your opponents to make mistakes, unless you can do a cold snap into sunstrike combo.
Most Invokers going this build generally farm up the mid lane for a while until they are able to pick up a midas, then they work towards force staffs and Necro 3's so that they can push lanes and threaten unit spam during teamfights.
