Mirror's Edge fans who have been waiting over seven years for a follow-up to the original game can have a go on prequel-slash-reboot Mirror's Edge Catalyst a week early if they subscribe to EA Access. Maybe the head start will give Faith's crew of runners time to improve their delivery service, so they're no longer in the company of the rest of these catastrophic couriers.
Frankly, if you entrust your precious parcel to a bunch of illegal parkourists in the hope they don't drop it off a skyscraper or straight-up fall to their doom, you're asking to be disappointed.
I expected better of the paperboy from Paperboy, however, who gives fewer than zero effs about what state the Daily Sun arrives in.
His trademark method of hurling the papers from a moving bicycle causes substantially more damage than the price of the newspaper, to the point where his neighbourhood paper rampages not only make but fill the entire front page of the newspaper he was supposed to be delivering.
At least he managed to avoid shootings, though, which is more than can be said for Postal's Postal Dude, or Fallout: New Vegas's courier. I'll probably just send an email next time.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst comes out on PS4, PC and Xbox One on 7 June 2016 (US) and 9 June 2016 (EU) with a six-hour preview for EA Access subscribers from 2 June 2016.
