Show of the Week: Rocket League is on Xbox One, Finally

Rocket League is football with cars and explosions, and is as many times better than actual football as that sounds. It's finally available on Xbox One, so we climbed into our own rocket-powered battle cars to see what the fuss was about. In Rocket League, two teams of cars face off on a pitch bordered by ramps that let you drive up the walls. The objective is to nudge the ball into the opponent’s net scoring what we in the biz call a ‘goal’. That’s often harder than it sounds, due to the aforementioned rocket-powered battle cars.

Teams are made up of one to four players and matches last five minutes, meaning things are always frantic. The physics-based chaos however means you’re never without hope for a last gasp, hail Mary wondergoal.
